Hi guys. This post ain’t about stereotyping random professions (farriers????), it’s about how cops are effectively legally untouchable and if they hurt you, you have virtually no recourse. A quality that none of those other professions have. It’s the inherent power imbalance of being bound to someone who can’t be prosecuted.
The “firemen cheat” thing is actually a myth, union workers are both hot and professionally stable, paramedics are stressed out but otherwise fine, physical workers are not inferior to “thinkers” don’t be fuckin classist, and “watch out for Farriers” is maybe the funniest thing anyone’s ever said on this post.
even if the artist were a human, there’s so much more to consider about a piece of art than just how it looks at a glance
i mean that’s a long perfectly straight line, was it done free hand? was it done in a single masterful stroke leaving the same thickness of paint the whole way through? are the edges of the line sharp enough to warrant the use of a magnifying glass if you were going to search for errors/rough spots?
and if the artist didn’t paint free hand, or if it were done in multiple strokes with different thicknesses of paint, or with purposefully rough and uneven edges, why?
what about the colour? the position of the line on the canvas? the width of the line? the choice of leaving the rest of such a large canvas blank? there’s so much to consider

They provide funds for for demonstrations outside prison, for legal fees, for media campaigns that tell conscientious objector’s stories to the general public, for education programs for Israeli and American audiences about their important resistance to the occupation.
